PalEx DCP-ABC is multipurpose dry powder for fire fighting. It is a Mono Ammonium Phosphate based powder treated with additives to make it free flowing and moisture repellent.

It is a multipurpose extinguishing powder which is used to combat Class-A fires (wood, papers, timber, tyers, etc), Class-B fires involving non-polar fuel & polar fuel and Class-C fires involving energized electrical equipment.
Specific applications include refinery, textile etc.
MAP based ABC agent is much more effective than bicarbonate based extinguishing agent.
It should not be mixed with Bicarbonate based dry chemical powder.
ABC powder should not use in chlorine or oxidizer fire because of its vigorous reaction with oxidizer which release toxic gases.
It is also not effective for Class-D fires.
